Advice and Support for British Nationals
Voluntary workers and those offering Volunteer work often find themselves in developing countries or in areas where there is potential for risk. Well away from the normal comforts of home, these workers are vulnerable to threats from many angles and so keeping in touch with the volunteer agencies and co workers is critical.
Whilst every care is taken not to put Volunteers or Aid Workers at risk or in danger, it happens. The Globetrotter SOS service becomes a vital tool in communication.
The Service not only briefs you and informs you of the risks you might face, it also provides you a safety net and a communication platform back to your nominated contacts, ensuring you are safe and well, or have a specialist in security and safety at the end of the phone for you.
Globetrotter SOS will be happy to discuss how our services can be used by you to make this vital work safer and mitigate the potential risks associated with working in foreign countries. Contact us now to discuss your requirements

When a group of students decided to visit uncharted areas of China and Vietnam to find new kayaking runs in wild areas, Globetrotter SOS offered assistance to them, providing a service to help them plan for all eventualities. The Kayaknam expedition used a Blackberry handset, combined with the Globetrotter SOS Assist service to offer “Here I am” location services to allow folks back at home to know where they are, and should they get into difficulties, have assistance available to them 24 x 7.
